We met in Prague both working as tour guides for Prague Pub Crawl. He was the strange Russian who didn't understand anything I said. I was the loud American talking about chicken and waffles. We worked together for about a month then one night....Our friend Olga came up to me one night and said "Aubrey, Max thinks you're cute." Right after he said that, he came up and kissed me on the check. I was in shock like 'what is this Russian dude all about'. I went back up to Olga and exclaimed" Max just kissed me should I kiss him back?!?". Olga, being Olga. said "DO IT". And we've been together ever since.
As most of our guests know, this wedding planning has been no piece of cake! We have finally finalized our date and venue in Texas. We are keeping an eye on the COVID situation and will keep our guests updated!
I describe our story to friends, family and colleagues as a "90-Day Fiance" story. We met in Prague, Czech Republic as tour guides in November 2016. Max did not speak any English! Most of our communication was done via google translate! Over the months, he gained confidence in speaking and he has yet to stop (haha). Together, we have traveled all over Europe and we eventually moved to my hometown, Houston Texas in the winter of 2019. In order to get Max to America, we did the K1 (or 90-day fiance) visa. It took almost 2 years to get everything sorted! Now, we are finally able to celebrate our marriage with the people we love and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
