We met in 7th grade math class, where Luke constantly stole Aubrey's pencil case. Aubrey hated going to math class because she knew she would have to deal with the kid next to her always trying to steal her stuff. In order for Aubrey to get her pencil case back she would pull Luke's hair until he finally would give in and give it back to her. Luke was interested in the "cute Asian girl with freckles" since day one, but Aubrey friend zoned him until their Senior year of high school, and the rest is history.
