Is there cellphone service?

Answer

Cellphone service will be on roaming while in Mexico, so please plan accordingly. Please reach out to your cellphone provider in advance to set up an international calling/texting plan as needed. There will be WIFI available at Villa del Paraiso. We also highly recommend downloading the messaging app "WhatsApp" this is a messaging system you can use on wifi when you are abroad.

How far is Villa del Paraiso from San Diego?

Answer

The house is located on the southern side of Rosarito, about 40 minutes from the US/Mexico border.

Is it challenging to cross the border?

Answer

I would recommend if you are traveling from San Diego (local resident or renting a car) to look in to getting Global Entry or the Sentri Pass to go in the expedited lane for driving across the border. It can be a coin toss how long it takes you to get across without it.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

The ceremony we are requesting adults only. At the reception we are also requesting no children under the age of 10 - due to safety on premise. The reception cite is located on a cliff, with no guard rails. If you are a new mamma that is breast feeding, we understand that feeding is a necessity in life. In these cases we understand the baby may be present at the reception. We highly recommend if you are traveling outside of San Diego to ask a family or friend to travel with you and we can help spread the word to other guests traveling to help you secure a babysitter.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

A space has been reserved for only those named on the invite or save the date that has been sent out. We are looking forward to an intimate ceremony/reception with close friends and family.

Is there parking on site?

Answer

There is a parking lot available on site! You are more than welcome to leave your car there overnight after the reception - we recommend taking a taxi or uber after! No drinking and driving!

Answer

Yes, uber is available and the staff on site has numbers they can call for taxis.
