The nearest major airports are Rome (Fiumicino) and Naples (Capodichino). Both offer many international flights and are convenient starting points for reaching Bari. Bari has its own airport, which can be very convenient if you find a direct flight. However, it has fewer international connections, and flights may be more limited or less flexible compared to Rome or Naples.
We also recommend renting a car, especially if you plan to stay in Italy for several days before and/or after the wedding. It’s the easiest way to explore the region at your own pace. If you prefer not to drive, you can also reach Bari by train or bus directly from most major cities. Tickets can be booked in advance online, and both options are comfortable and reliable.
