Sitting on 42 acres of land there's no shortage of things to do. Having recently added onto their already existing exhibits, its a fun place to take kids or learn more about animals.
Pretty much the only amusement park in Utah. They have some award winning rides, and fun eats. A fun place to go for all ages.
Northern Utah has a large air force base with a museum open to the public. They often run free entry promotions and worth checking out!
This fun museum showcases some of the unique finds from Utah and all over the world! Large enough to take up most of your day too. Plus, it's right next to our venue of Redbutte Gardens.
This planetarium has the added benefit of being in downtown Salt Lake. Within walking distance of malls, restaurants, and even some more kid friendly museums! It offers shows and interactive learning that is more catered to children, but it is still fun for adults.
Love art? Well there's a museum in Salt Lake for you! To be fair and balanced there are several around the valley, some are even free. This one is more famous, but fun non-the-less.
When we lived downtown I had the opportunity to try Turkish coffee. The employees were so nice and even helped with recommendations. It's in the heart of downtown so not only do you get coffee, but you can experience some of the architecture that the old neighborhoods have. Beware parking, you'll likely have to park on the street and it can be a bit dense.
