Devyn and Aubrey attended Camanche High School together. Other then being in group projects and a gym class or two together, they have a chance to get to know each other. It wasn’s until four years after Aubrey graduated, and five years after Devyn did, that they “connected.” They became inseperable and cannot wait to start forever.

Aubrey told Devyn she was pregnant after driving home from a rained out Cardinal’s game. He was shocked, but was over the moon. They started making plans, redoing rooms and enjoying the wait for Ezrah, a name they both picked out. On December 5th, 2019, Aubrey was subbing at a local school. Her water broke two months early, and Ezrah was delivered that day at 3:33pm. It was a terrifying journey in the NICU. Ezrah had a hard time getting nutrients and eating on his own. During the stay, Aubrey and Devyn realized how strong and sacred their relationship was. They leaned on each other for support during a very difficult time. Ezrah is stronger, and an absolute love. Devyn and Aubrey could not imagine life without him!
