Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guest list just to those who know us well. The names of all guests invited to attend are clearly listed on your invitation. Please reach out to the couple with any concerns.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We want you to be able to kick back, relax, and celebrate with us, which is why we have decided to have an adults-only event. We appreciate your making arrangements to leave the little ones at home.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space (located about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot) and find a seat. We will be starting promptly at 10:00 a.m.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

For the ceremony, the Dallas Arboretum has ample parking available for all our guests. You will be parking in Entry 2, the Camp Lot. Please tell the guard you are here for the Moore-Lee Wedding, park and walk in. Closer to the wedding, we will send each guest a map for how to get to the ceremony site from the parking lot. We recommend carpooling as much as possible for the reception, as it is taking place in a neighborhood.

Question

How do we get into the gardens?

Answer

You will be parking in Entry 2, the Camp Lot. From there, it is a short walk to the gardens. Derek & Aubrey will send each guest a walking map a few days before the ceremony.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

As our wedding will take place in early spring, we want you to feel as comfortable as possible! The ceremony will be held outdoors at the arboretum, and the reception will take place both indoors and outdoors. We recommend garden party attire for the ceremony, and suggest bringing a jacket, umbrella, or sunglasses depending on the weather. Once you leave the arboretum, you’re welcome to change before heading to the reception, as changing is not permitted in public spaces. We’ll be celebrating with a crawfish boil, and bibs will be provided!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please reach out to Derek and Aubrey with any food allergy concerns.
