Would you bring a suitcase on a first date? This was Cres' predicament as he was leaving Oracle Park to meet the love of his life for the first time. Fortunately, Cres showed up to the date sans luggage but unfortunately abruptly ended the flowing banter to "catch a flight" to "Phoenix". Aubrey was skeptical of this hasty departure but Cres made up for it by walking her an extra mile to her metro stop and almost missing his "flight". To this day there is no evidence Cres went to Phoenix that weekend.

Cres and Aubrey made quick work of becoming a real life Bay Area rom-com. Long walks on beaches looking up at the Golden Gate Bridge. Hikes through the Presidio to see the Golden Gate Bridge. Even longer walks and hikes up the painfully steep hills of San Francisco to see the Golden Gate Bridge covered in fog. Regardless, the two fell in love driving across the Bay Bridge to see each other and sharing life over tacos.

After almost three years of dating, Cres and Aubrey made their first home together in Oakland. Cres has adapted to Aubrey's need for constant cleanliness and organization and Aubrey has learned to tune out Cres' enthusiastically loud cheering for his numerous sports teams.

In March 2022 Ollie the dog formerly known as Sirius formerly known as River formerly known as Rooster formerly known as Puma joined the family and quickly surpassed Cres as the love of Aubrey's life. Cres loves him too, but it was a slower burn. Shout out to Oakland Animal Shelter - Adopt don't Shop!

Cres proposed to Aubrey at the top of Nob Hill in the city where they fell in love. Through tears of “joy” Aubrey agreed to marry Cres.
