On our first date, we bonded over matcha lattes and our love of music, travel, and food. After three hours of nonstop conversation and laughter, one of us asked, " Is it just me, or is there something real here?" We knew then and there that we were about to embark on something rare and special. We lit a spark that afternoon in that small cafe that has been burning brightly ever since.

We were on vacation in Oia, Santorini, Greece and had spent the last few days exploring the beautiful island and relaxing in the gorgeous cliffside village. The final evening we were there, Aubrey had suggested we take a photo-tour with a local photographer, where we would walk to several overlooks throughout Oia to capture some photos of the two of us at sunset. Little did Courtney know that he had huge surprise waiting for her! For about an hour we meandered along the cliffside and took pictures (and now we know why Aubrey was acting a little bit stiff). Right as the sun was fully setting, we ended up at the last stop on the walk - a beautiful old church overlooking the bay, a truly stunning view. Courtney was staring out at the ocean when Aubrey tapped her on the shoulder, and when she turned around, he was kneeling on the ground with a ring in his hand. Courtney knew immediately the answer was yes, and the rest is history!
