We're Getting Married!

Our story begins, as so many others do, on the dawn of a global pandemic. In March of 2020, we met online after noticing that both of us had ties to Colorado. Casually messaging each other back and forth for several weeks, we wondered if there would ever be anything more to our relationship than just being pen-pals. It was then that Aubrey asked Brandon a question that would ultimately change our lives. While going back and forth, Aubrey remembered Brandon saying that he was from Highlands Ranch, and it reminded her of one of her best friends from College. One night she asked, “Do you know Preston Sullivan?”. B’s jaw dropped in surprise and laughter as he replied, ugh yeah…he’s basically family. You see, Preston is the legal guardian of B’s great-grand dog, Bocephus. A couple of messages to Preston later, we finally decided to setup our first date. Aubrey lived in uptown Dallas at the time, so B went to her apartment (pandemic) so they could grab dinner together. Walking past all the shops and restaurants nearby, there were no dine-in options. Finally we were able to order to-go drinks and continue to walk around while waiting for our food to be ready for pickup. Needless to say the first date went well; We just knew things were different. After hours of conversation and an uncommonly large amount of similarities (i.e. both of our little sisters' have the same birthday-random), we’ve been pretty much inseparable ever since. We are so excited to start this next chapter in our lives and look forward to a lifetime of continued surprises together!
