Giving back is what truly brought us together. Thanks to Aubrey's passion for medical mission work, she connected with the VOOM Foundation, which partners closely with HeartGift. At HeartGift’s annual gala in 2024, which Aubrey almost didn't attend (thanks Shawn!), Oscar was being honored for his generosity and longtime support. From a few tables away, Aubrey couldn’t miss his smile or his laugh. "My friend nudged me and said, 'You have to meet him!' That was quickly followed by a flurry of texts to friends in the organization, all saying the same thing: 'Yes: you two have to meet.'" - Aubrey We met. We fell in love, and we are so excited to spend the rest of our lives together.
