Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal (bright colors encouraged!). Keep in mind that Texas weather during April can be very unpredictable! Note: The ceremony and part of the reception will take place on grass, so plan your footwear accordingly.

Do you have a room block at a hotel?

Answer

Yes! We have a room block at The Highland. We highly encourage you to stay there because there will be a shuttle between The Highland and the wedding venue.

Are the ceremony and reception in the same location?

Answer

Yes!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at Gate 2. However, we will have a shuttle that will pick guests up at The Highland and drop them off at the venue as well as return guests back to The Highland after the reception. Please see Travel section for shuttle times.

Are children invited?

Answer

This is an adult only ceremony and reception with the exception of our flower girl.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If you were provided a plus one with your invitation, you may bring a guest. Otherwise, we cannot accommodate any additional guests.

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony as well as the reception are at the Alex Camp House at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Both the ceremony and the reception will be outdoors (weather permitting).

Can we take pictures?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not take photos or videos during the ceremony. However, you are welcome to take lots of photos and videos during the reception!
