Our first date was at Gravely Brewing and we still love stopping by for a beer! If you decide to give it a try, make sure you go all the way to the top of their back patio for a stunning view of downtown Louisville. The Highlands neighborhood is a great place to walk around and explore the cafes, pubs, and local shops that line Baxter Avenue and Bardstown Road! Within a block of Gravely, you can get Pizza by the slice at Spinelli's or grab a beer at Hi-Wire Brewing in the ground floor of Aubree's first apartment building in Lou. Just down the street you will find more of our favorites like PG&J Dog Park Bar and O'Shea's Irish Pub.
The NuLu area is one of our favorite neighborhoods! The NuLu Market Place is a great place to start with West 6th Brewing, and a variety of restaurants and shops in the marketplace courtyard. Stop by Cultured for a charcuterie board, La Bodeguita de Mima for a nice dinner, or Garage Bar for for drinks and bar games.
