Ahh! Summertime in San Francisco. Here's what to expect weather-wise:
It will likely be chilly in the morning, sunny in the afternoon (an average daytime high of 68 degrees), and Karl the Fog may roll in through the Golden Gate right around happy hour.
Since our venue is right on the Bay, we highly recommend a light layer - there's a reason those Patagonia nanopuff jackets are a mainstay of the techbro set.
Please be aware and do your research when booking a hotel, especially if the neighborhood listed is "Union Square" or the like. If you have any questions on the neighborhood you're considering staying in, please let us know!
Flight
SFO and OAK
Both United and American fly direct to SFO from Philly. SFO is a 20 minute drive to the City. There are plenty of transit options, like BART, and we also recommend taking a taxi service over Lyft/Uber. If you're flying in/out of Oakland International, keep in mind the distance when it comes to traffic. Below are our hotel recommendations.
