Aubree and Justin first met at a college party hosted by a mutual friend while they were both students at Purdue University. What started as a casual introduction quickly turned into a close friendship. They spent countless evenings studying together, sitting around firepits, relaxing in hammocks at the Clapping Circle, and hanging out in the garage while Justin worked on his four-wheeler with Aubree faithfully supplying snacks. Their connection was easy, comfortable, and full of laughter. It was the best kind of beginning. As the school year came to a close, their friendship began to shift into something more. Fortunately, summer gave them plenty of opportunities to reconnect. From late-night phone calls and a trip to the drive-in with friends to a concert in Indy and a lake day for Justin’s birthday, they slowly became inseparable. One particularly memorable weekend included a long road trip from Napanee all the way down to Huntingburg to pick up some farm equipment. Somehow, Justin still hadn’t caught on that Aubree was all in. That weekend wrapped up with a backyard camp-out with friends and helped solidify something special between them. They continued dating through the rest of college, enjoying Purdue football games, Den Pops, and the occasional Dairy Queen Blizzard. They supported each other through major milestones like graduation, their first real jobs, moving into new apartments, and even managing a long-distance relationship. Through it all, they knew they had found something rare — a relationship built on trust, friendship, and a whole lot of fun. Over the years, Aubree and Justin have taken on many new adventures together. From renovating a home and celebrating milestones to wrangling their beloved dog Ranger, they have worked hard to build a life they are proud of. On October 4th, Justin proposed in the cow pasture behind their home as the sun set in the background. They have spent many evenings together walking with Ranger back to the pasture, and it was the very same spot where Aubree had first said “I love you,” making the moment all the more perfect. Now, Aubree and Justin are excited to take the next step in their journey together. Most of all, they are grateful to share this special chapter with the friends and family who have supported them every step of the way.
