We owe our 'meet cute' to a family gathering for a birthday party. After the party, my cousins, their spouses, and I all went out for drinks. My cousin, Clay, and his wife, McKenzie, invited a friend, Aaron, who lived in town to tag along. The next weekend my cousin, Shelley, invited Aaron and me over for a BBQ. This went on for a few weekends at Shelley and Wilson's home until I finally gave in and texted Aaron about going to a concert with me. I took a shot of Tequila and hit send hoping for the best. Luckily, Aaron said yes, and we had a great first date seeing Shane Smith & the Saints with some of my friends. The next day we went bowling and the rest is history. Exactly one year to the day of our first date, we were celebrating our dating anniversary, when he got down on one knee to ask me to spend forever with him. Aaron and I have both waited patiently for God to bring someone into our life. HIS timing was perfect, and God was working all this time to prepare us for each other and this new season to come. We are both so thankful to our family and friends who have been a part of this journey with us and cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with each of you.
