In October 2014, Atty & Finlay both swiped right. Atty was 3 months into a year-long study abroad program and swears she only downloaded Tinder to "see how many guys were wearing kilts." What started as a casual conversation over their shared hatred of running turned into Finlay asking Atty out for drinks. When Atty accidentally ghosted him (she didn't have a working international phone plan), Finlay sweetly reached out to thank her for considering and wished the best for her remaining time in Glasgow. A combination of guilt and flattery resulted in Atty accepting the date, and the rest, as they say, is history.
