Should I bring my kids with me?

Answer

Of course! Our little Layla will be with us for the weekend. We are so excited to see your little ones throughout the resort and took care to pick a place that included them. This one in particularly has a couple of kids clubs throughout where they can hang out for up to four hours a day with their onsite sitters. You can also take them there to use their kids club amenities and hang out there yourself if you prefer. Kids have 0 charge from the ages 0-17!

What should I do with my kids during the ceremony and wedding?

Answer

I always remember weddings from when I was a little kid and I'd love for everyone to share this memory together. This ceremony will be from 5-5:30pm. Feel free to bring your parents or nanny if they're in tow for the weekend. After the ceremony there will be a cocktail hour which will give you a chance to bring your little one back the room. An adults only reception will follow. We personally used the hotel's sourced sitters and found them incredibly delightful. In the area these run about $25 an hour. Please let us know if you'll have any extras in tow for the ceremony and cocktail hour so we can plan accordingly.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport is Cancun, CUN, 35 minutes from the resort. The second closest airport is Tulum, TQO, 1.5 hours away. This airport might be worth the extra time depending on flight options. We've found flights into Tulum can sometimes be more affordable depending on the airline.

How should I get to the resort?

Answer

You can arrange a car through our fantastic travel group Bohemia Wedding on their booking site. It's $170 round trip for up to 7 people (including 7 suitcases) in one van. $70 for a one way booking. You can also find other travel cars through some google searches.

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will take place on the beach. We will then go to a roof top bar to watch the sunset for cocktail hour. From there some golf carts will bring you a short distance down the resort to the Isla Lawn where the party really takes off. Ladies, the Isla Lawn is a grass area so plan accordingly!

What is the dress code?

Beach Semi-Formal Ladies we'd love to see you in your breezy maxi or long dresses. For men, jackets are not required, but we do love the way you guys look in these. *Bonus points for pastel colors. The wedding is a no shoe wedding on the beach and then a grass reception party. Plan those heels accordingly.

What is a Casita?

Answer

A Fairmont Casista is a small building with four hotel rooms located throughout the resort. You can reserve a Fairmont Casita rooms for $90 more than the traditional hotel room called the Fairmont room. These Fairmont Casistas usually have water front views of the canal or (if you really splurge) of the ocean.
