Our wedding is black tie optional. That means tuxedos and floor-length gowns are welcome and encouraged—but not required. A dark suit and tie or a formal dress is perfectly appropriate if you prefer. Think elevated, celebratory, and dressed to impress—full-length gowns encouraged.
The Schermerhorn Symphony Center is located at 1 Symphony Pl, Nashville, TN 37201, in downtown Nashville. The venue does not have parking available, so for locals, we recommend using ride sharing options to the venue. If you're staying at 1 Hotel Nashville or the Four Seasons Hotel Nashville, both offer complimentary house car services to drop guests off at the venue. Please be sure to arrive early enough at their valet to ensure timely arrival before the ceremony begins.
Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. If you need to travel with children and are looking for a sitter for the wedding evening, we recommend Elegant Event Sitters, a trusted local service that provides in-room hotel babysitting. Rates range from $25/hour for one child to up to $30/hour for three children, with a $30 booking fee and a four-hour minimum. If your invitation includes a guest, you’re welcome to bring them! If you’re unsure, please refer to the details on the outside of your inner envelope. It’s important for us to know each guest’s RSVP, so feel free to reach out directly if you have any questions.
Our ceremony and reception will be held indoors at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Cocktail hour will take place either in the property's courtyard or inside the venue, depending on the weather.
