Not only was Tinna’s Classic Thai Cuisine the location of our first date, it is also one of our favorite spots to grab some delicious food and drinks! We highly recommend checking it out if you have the chance.
This is where John and Mollie ended their first date, way back when. Hop on over to the Rhododendron Garden if you are looking for a scenic and peaceful place to spend the afternoon. There's plenty of spots to sit and rest, trails to walk through, and you can even purchase food to feed the geese and ducks that flock to this gorgeous gem of Southeast Portland.
For being such a quaint town, Milwaukie sure knows what it means to have a great and lively farmers market. 2020 is the 21st year this market has been running and it gets better every year. We highly recommend trying Lucy's Tropical Juice for some fresh squeeze lemonade with tons of flavor options. The Milwaukie Sunday Farmers Market begins at 9:30 am and goes on until 2:00 pm in Downtown Milwaukie. Parking can be scarce, so we suggest arriving early and to expect a (possible) walk after parking.
What do you get when you mix a nickel arcade, movie theater, and mini golf? Wunderland!! A staple on the Portland area, this establishment has been around for years. Family fun for all.
If you're in the mood for a movie and some reasonably priced snacks, Oak Grove 8 is the place to go. John and Mollie have gone on many a date night there and always enjoy the service and food.
The Columbia River Gorge is one of the most spectacular sites to see in Portland, boasting nearly 50 notable falls. Multnomah Falls, the tallest waterfall in Oregon, is one of the many beautiful falls in The Gorge and we highly recommend making a trip through The Gorge to enjoy the beautiful landscape and amazing views.
Another gem in the Columbia River gorge is Vista House, with incredible vies of Washington and Oregon, plus the gorge itself, which high walls were carved out by the Mousula Floods in the last ice age.
If you're more interested in getting a spectacular view of the city skyline, Pittock Mansion is a great stop for you. Take walk around the gorgeous grounds, stop and take in the view of Portland, or
