Our Big Day

Jodi Picoult, author of My Sister’s Keeper, once wrote; “You don’t love someone because they’re perfect. You love them because they’re not”. With that being said our story is nothing short of adventure! From the day we were introduced to our current life together, we have been each others rock for years. 🖤 In the course of 4.5 years we have grown into an amazing family. Set aside family, we both helped each other grow as individuals. Someone to just be there with, doesn’t matter what you or they have, just that they’re there and they feel like home. Neither of us expected to feel that feeling. So Netflix and chill, turned into Netflix and Twin Flames; soul mates whatever you want to call it! Love is wild, unexpected, sorta hard, but so beautiful it outweighs all else. I’m glad our souls chose each other 🖤 Okay enough of me being sappy. Here’s the good stuff, we definitely met on a dating app. 😆 Best right swipes we ever made, so we started talking on and off for awhile because we just liked each other’s company so much. I had never connected with someone like that before, so you already know, I’m crazy about him. Little did I know he felt the same way too, he even said “I love you,” first! Eventually we stopped courting, and started building a life together. Two best friends, raising our mini best friends together, going on vacations together, and now it’s for sure forever. However, I will say we would not be here if it weren’t for our family and friends. So thank you to you all!! It has been a pleasure raising our children together; building this life, and this village together has been so powerful. 🖤Good things truly do come to those who wait.
