Madeline has known her best friend, Alli, since kindergarten... however, they were not friends - yet. It took them many years, until their junior year of high school, to realize that they were best friends for life. After a difficult AP Physics class, some goofing around in their orchestra class, and many school dances, they realized they were meant to be friends (and dance partners for life). Now, they laugh that it took so long to see!! Madeline and Alli have had a long-distance friendship for more than 6 years, but the lessons learned through this relationship helped Madeline when she and Dylan started their relationship. Fun fact: when Alli first heard about Dylan, she called her grandma and told her that Madeline had found the love of her life and would marry this man!!! And since that moment, Alli had a Pinterest board going for Madeline's wedding (thanks, Alli!)

Back in the day, Madeline and Emma shared a room. For about 15 years, they were sister BFFs; singing songs when they should have been sleeping, having "sleepovers" in the other sister's bed, sneaking snacks, talking constantly, and fighting about who was the messier sister. They didn't dream about their weddings, but they shared a very strong bond. Emma helped Madeline learn how to get along with others. Their brother Will would be off doing "boy things" with his friends, while Madeline would spend time playing house and dress-up with Emma on the deck, building forts in the farm woods, and racing bikes around the cul-de-sac. They weren't always BFFs, but they're still close today and continue to stay close, though Madeline travels regularly. Madeline is excited to have her sister with her every step of the way on her and Dylan's big day!

Ashley and Madeline began their adventures in diapers... destined to become the "best friend cousins" of the family. From swimming in the lake, laying on the hill to tan, tubing, and campfires to hiking, spur-of-the-moment vacations, and type 2 fun - Ashley and Madeline have bonded past cousins. Ashley contributed to the success of Madeline & Dylan's relationship by helping Madeline meet Dylan! Ashley was one of the last people to see her before she took her solo trip to Colorado, where the couple met. Ashley's support in getting Madeline to the mountains, encouraging her while she was there, and love through long-distance friendship helped prepare Madeline to meet and maintain a relationship with Dylan. She is excited that Ashley will be standing by her as she marries the man whom Ashley's support helped her to meet!
