What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is western-formal! We invite you to join us in wearing our wedding colors, which include neutrals and fall color pallet. For photos, we ask that you avoid extremely vibrant tones.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Due to the venue having their own liquor license, bartenders are required to check all ID's at the bar for all alcohol. The Hoffmans will put money towards the bar for a limited amount of time. After that, you will be responsible to pay for your own beverages. (Last call will be promptly at 10:30pm.) The venue reserves the right to turn away any intoxicated person(s) and/or remove you from the premises at any given time.

Can we bring outside alcohol?

Answer

The venue has their own liquor license that we will be utilizing. Please leave all outside alcohol in your vehicle as this is the venues request.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget and meet our venue restrictions. If your invitation includes an option for a plus one, then yes!

What does the venue look like?

Answer

The venue is a wedding barn; parking will be in a field with a gravel lot with a short walk to the barn. There is a circle drive that folks can be dropped off at if needed. There will be porta cools and heaters on the main level. The barn is not equipped with climate-controlled utilities, so please dress accordingly. There are bonfire pits outside, so blankets are permitted to bring by the venue!

How will the evening unfold?

While the cocktail hour is open to everyone; please use this time to find your seats, grab a snack, a beverage, and mingle. Dinner and party will start soon after!

What if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed, but we completely understand, life gets busy! However, please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We welcome your little ones! We just ask that you keep a close eye on them and remove them if they are disruptive. There will be a swing-set located at the back of the venue, as well as coloring books to keep them occupied.

Do you have a registry or a honeymoon fund?

Answer

Yes, we do! Please navigate over to the "registry" tab where you can view our list. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for some items.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We have hired professional photographers to capture our special day and ask that you please refrain from taking pictures or being on your phone during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos the rest of the night!

What time does the reception end?

Answer

The reception will end with a send-off at 11:30, and there will not be an after-party. Everyone must be off of the property by midnight Saturday night per the venues request. Vehicles can be left at the venue and picked up the next morning if need be.

Can I smoke on the property?

Answer

The venue is a smoke free property; there is a designated smoking area away from the venue. We ask that you follow the signs and the venues request.
