5 years ago, on my first cruise with my girlfriends, A knock on the door & a mild accent but deep voice said "Good Evening, my name is Roy, I'll be your stateroom attendant", I looked up & there was this tall, brown skinned, handsome man peeking into our room, with his introduction. I stood to my feet, prancing over to the door to greet this smooth tone brother. I grabbed his hand to shake while he continued his speech to explain policies and procedures, however I heard nothing he said. It was like a movie scene where you can hear sound but there's no comprehension. I still had his hand long after he stopped talking. I didn’t want to let it go. He'd probably say I was flirting with him, and I was. There was something so charming about him and so my crush on him grew daily. On our departure day, I have to figure out how to get his attention. I walked the halls to look for him, not knowing what I would say if I found him. Then there he was, I was scared to tell him I'm interested, What to say? What to say? OMG he's walking this way… "Hey how's it going?" I said, trying to be calm. I don’t think I listened long enough to hear the words coming from his mouth, once he paused I asked "Umm how old are?", he tells me and I'm thinking okay okay… Old Enough!!! And THAT, was all I said. I was so nervous, I'm usually not a shy person, but I've never told a guy I'm interested. I just went back to my room. A while later its departure time and that final walk to leave the guest room area, I just wanted to see him one last time. There he was again, still nervous I stop to say goodbye and he says, "have a safe trip, hope to see you in the future" thanks I said. Then it came to me, "Hey umm, do you have social media like FB, before I completed my sentence he said "Yes & WhatsApp", "What's That" I say. He showed me the app, I get his number & we said our goodbyes again. So the next day, I texted him saying "I found you". And that ladies & gentlemen, was the start of our forever.
