We crossed paths for quite a while without ever officially meeting. That finally changed in 2016 at Breakers Live, when the University of South Carolina men's basketball team made it to the Final Four. In the middle of all the excitement, we struck up a conversation and clicked right away! We spent that summer talking, texting, and getting to know each other, even after Michael headed back to Cincinnati. When we ran into each other again after the summer apart, we picked things back up like no time had passed at all. We started spending more time together, going to functions and on dates, and it quickly became clear that this was something special. We officially started dating at Michael's Christmas party - decked out in glitter and festive hats (fitting, honestly). And that was just the beginning! Since then, eight years have flown by (yes, eight!). Together, we’ve welcomed nieces and nephews into the world, moved to Charlotte, bought a home, adopted Brandy (our fur baby), traveled to the most amazing places, and built a life we love. We’ve already experienced so much side by side - and we’re excited to keep exploring, adventuring, and embracing this next chapter as The Brucks!
