Our love story started well before either of us were fully walking and talking. Our moms became fast and dear friends as neighbors in Baltimore, Maryland. Then, the Baksts moved to Florida. Yoni and I spent the next years of our lives growing up in different states, we went to different schools, and lived very different lives. But that didn't affect the Hoffman and Bakst friendship. Growing up, our families went on countless trips to Disney World and spent many holidays together. We were family friends by definition. In 2014, we both ended up in New York for college and our friend groups crossed paths. Although, dating was never in the cards. Until that fateful day when I received a text from Yoni asking me out. Naturally, I said no. It wasn’t our time. Fast forward to post-covid, I missed Yoni in my life so I reached out and we started spending time together. Sparks flew, but we kept them a secret knowing it could be chaos if things crumbled, so we took the time to make sure we were both all in before telling our families. In October of 2020 we became official and have been together ever since. These last 2 years have been the best years of our lives. It's funny how a twist of fate can make things that you never thought possible, possible. We can’t wait to celebrate our love with each and every one of you!
