We're getting married

We met at Aldo of all places while I was working. The attraction was mutual, instantly and we set up our first date right away. We ate, talked and walked the neighborhood for what felt like forever and the rest is history. We've yet to stop talking and spending time with each other since and it has been a dream.

The day before Thanksgiving, we went back one of our early date locations - the Japanese Botanical Garden in Balboa Park - to "show Saul's mom around". We were taking pictures with Julie, Saul's niece, and as she walked away I looked over and he was down on one knee. I was in complete shock and began to cry. I said "Yes" of course, and was grateful to have our family and my best friend there to celebrate. I was surprised with an engagement dinner where we had our first date, Kindred, and it was an amazing evening. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
