Alexandra is one of Athena's cousins and has known Athena since she was a baby! Alexandra has been asked to be the Koumbara of the wedding. In Greek Orthodox tradition, the Koumbara plays an active part in the ceremony and is chosen as someone who the newly married couple will look to for religious guidance throughout their lives together.

Sarah grew up only a couple blocks away from Athena's home in Haddonfield. They have been close friends since the beginning :)

Another one of Athena's friends since childhood is Ally Clark! They have spent countless summers at Brigantine beach and graduated Haddonfield Memorial HS together.

Angela is one of Athena's first friends at the University of Pittsburgh. Angela and Athena studied nursing together at school. GO PITT and team 305!

Brian and Ben have been friends for over 15 years. They have lived together in several apartments and have travelled together to Europe, Colorado, and Charleston.

Ben and Tristan became friends in High School and worked together doing maintenance at JCC Camp for 2 summers during college. They have enjoyed countless Phish concerts together as well as tons of rides in Ben’s first car, “The Batmobile”
Marcos Jordan

Marcos and Ben grew up together and have been close friends since High School. They lived together at Ben’s first apartment after college. They both even played on the same baseball team when they were 8.
Ty Miller

Ty and Ben have been friends since grade school. They grew up around the corner from each other and spent countless hours playing outside around their block, at Wedgewood Swim Club, and hanging out during the summer on Ty’s Porch.
Michael Benas

Michael is Athena’s cousin and they have been inseparable since birth (born a month apart!). Michael and Ben share a love (and rivalry) for soccer. When Ben first met Athena, Michael filled him in on Greek culture and made him feel less like an xéno.
