Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP at your earliest convenience. We need to submit our final guest count by June 1st. If we don’t receive your response by then, we’ll have to assume you’re unable to attend (and we’ll pour one out for you on the dance floor).

Question

How do I get to Ayacucho?

Answer

Please fly internationally into Lima, Peru (Jorge Chávez International Airport). From Lima, you will need to book a domestic flight to Ayacucho (Coronel FAP Alfredo Mendívil Duarte Airport). We recommend allowing ample time between flights when booking. For any additional travel questions, feel free to contact Athalia directly.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, a valid passport is required for international travel to Peru. Please make sure yours is up to date before booking.

Question

What currency is used?

Answer

The local currency is the Peruvian Sol (PEN). While many places accept cards, having some Soles on hand is helpful for taxis and smaller purchases!

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Puma Wasi in Ayacucho, Peru. It’s a beautiful outdoor venue designed for events and celebrations. Venue page: https://www.facebook.com/puma.wasi.5

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. You can take a taxi and simply say “Eventos Puma Wasi.” The venue is well known in Ayacucho. Taxi fares typically range from S/. 12 – S/. 20 (Peruvian Soles), which is approximately $3–$6 USD.

Question

What should I know about the altitude?

Answer

Ayacucho sits at a higher elevation. Some guests may feel mild altitude effects (headache, fatigue, shortness of breath) when they first arrive. Stay hydrated, take it easy your first day, and you’ll be just fine.

Question

Is this an adults-only event?

Answer

Yes, this will be an adults-only celebration.

Question

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence is truly the best gift. If you’d still like to give something, we kindly ask for cash gifts, as we’ll be traveling back to Moscow shortly after the wedding and won’t be able to bring physical gifts with us.
