Please fly internationally into Lima, Peru (Jorge Chávez International Airport). From Lima, you will need to book a domestic flight to Ayacucho (Coronel FAP Alfredo Mendívil Duarte Airport). Yes, a valid passport is required for international travel to Peru. Please make sure yours is up to date before booking.
The local currency is the Peruvian Sol (PEN). While many places accept cards, having some Soles on hand is helpful for taxis and smaller purchases!
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Puma Wasi in Ayacucho, Peru. It’s a beautiful outdoor venue designed for events and celebrations. Venue page: https://www.facebook.com/puma.wasi.5
Transportation will not be provided. You can take a taxi and simply say “Eventos Puma Wasi.” The venue is well known in Ayacucho. Taxi fares typically range from S/. 12 – S/. 20 (Peruvian Soles), which is approximately $3–$6 USD.
Ayacucho sits at a higher elevation. Some guests may feel mild altitude effects (headache, fatigue, shortness of breath) when they first arrive. Stay hydrated, take it easy your first day, and you’ll be just fine.
Yes, this will be an adults-only celebration.
