Her side: You know those stories of love at first sight? Well that was us as cliche as it sounds. We met at Olive Garden both working as hosts and he was the new guy. I remember seeing him for the first time and getting butterflies, I told my friend Gillian "I'm gonna marry him someday." Naturally she laughed and told me I was crazy because I didn't even know his name yet; but I knew. Over the next few months we became very good friends and helped each other through some hard times. My parents would see me smiling at my phone and constantly talking to Alex and my dad told me I was rushing into things.... that is until he met him. If you know my dad you know that no one was ever good enough for his little girl... until now. Shortly after meeting Alex he was already calling him his son-in-law and introducing him as such. My family loves him and accepts him as their own and supports us fully. His side: Remember in middle school when you saw your crush and instantly froze? That's how I felt when I met Alina. I'd stand behind her and go through endless conversations in my head, but as soon as she'd look at me with those beautiful brown eyes I would lose my words. As time went on and I left the restaurant I lost the majority of those relationships as well. The one that has stayed closest to my heart was always the most important. Alina has made me happier than I have ever been and reminds me how loved I am everyday.

It was a Tuesday night, we were really slow at work so I got sent home early, Alex had been acting weird all day asking for me to send my favorite pictures of us to him. I walked in the door and he and a friend were playing video games and all of a sudden stopped. His friend came and sat at our dining room table and Alex said "come here I have something cool to show you" so I came over to a digital picture frame with pictures of us and it flipped through the pictures to a picture of a ring. I turned around and there he is on one knee. He didn't even get to ask all he got out was "Alina Renee-" and i fell into his arms crying and hugging him.
