FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 31st at the very latest!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Gifts are absolutely not necessary, but if you would like to get us something, you can view our registry right here on Zola!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:15, so please arrive around 6 so you have a chance to get settled before we get started. It won’t be a long ordeal, and we wouldn’t want you to miss it! If you can’t make it by then, we’d still love to celebrate with you at the reception immediately following.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are encouraging a very casual or “come as you are” type dress! We’ll be playing lots of games, so you’ll want something you can move in. Tennis shoes would be highly recommended.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Absolutely! We want everyone to be comfortable and have a great time. We do ask that you RSVP for your date as well, so we’re prepared to feed everyone present.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Everyone is welcome! This is, after all, a family event! We’ll even have some special food and game options especially for the kiddos.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please do! We want everyone to have a chance to participate fully in the activities- especially the food.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Historic McDowell House, which does have its own parking at the Visitor Center on location.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Nope! The wedding will include the ceremony and a reception, complete with dinner and games, all as one big event.

Question

What if there is inclement weather?

Answer

We’re doing this thing rain or shine! There will be a tent in any case, but if the weather is bad, please bring a jacket and bear with us. It should be a good time regardless!
