Aiea Loop Trail

One of our favorite shaded hikes! Length: 4.8 miles; Difficulty: easy to moderate; You can choose to do the complete loop or hike the trail as an out and back.

Na Ala Hele: Manoa Falls Trail

Na Ala Hele: Manoa Falls Trail, Honolulu, HI 96822

Length: 1.7 miles; Difficulty: easy to moderate; Mānoa Falls is one of the closest and most accessible hikes for those staying Waikīkī and is a family friendly hike.

Kuliouou Ridge Trail

Kuli'ou'ou Valley Trail, Honolulu, HI 96821

Length: 4.4 miles: Difficulty: hard; Beautiful view of the east side of the island.

Diamond Head Crater Trailhead

Kapahulu, Honolulu, HI 96815

Length: 1.9 miles; Difficulty: easy to moderate; Panoramic views of Waikiki and the Pacific Ocean.

Lanikai Beach

Kailua, HI 96734

Known for its turquoise waters and soft sand, it’s a stunning spot for sunrise and beach relaxation. There are also multiple kayak rental shops in the area and tours to the nearby Mokulua islands. Our favorite Indian restaurant Himalayan Kitchen is a short drive away.

Sharks Cove

A popular spot on the North Shore for snorkeling with a variety of fish and marine life.

Laniakea Beach (Turtle Beach)

Relax on the beach and spot Hawaiian green sea turtles basking in the sun.

Waimea Valley

A lush botanical garden leading to a beautiful waterfall where you can swim.

Waimea Bay Beach

Beautiful beach on the North shore by Waimea valley. It has a section of boulders on the beach to climb and good snorkeling when the waves are small.

Ko Olina Lagoons

Kapolei, HI 96707

The Ko Olina lagoons are perfect for families with children. Four manmade coves offers a fun and kid friendly beach experience. We recommend going on a weekday when free public parking is more available. There is also parking for a fee available.

Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve

100 Hanauma Bay Road, Honolulu, HI 96825

A marine sanctuary with clear waters, perfect for snorkeling and seeing vibrant marine life. Be sure to buy tickets in advance, entrance is only permitted with prebooked admission!
