FAQs

Question

How far is Jersey City from NYC?

Answer

Not far at all! There are two Path Train lines you can take to get into Manhattan. Take the WTC (World Trade Center) line from downtown New Jersey into Lower Manhattan in less than 10 minutes (2 train stops!) You can also take the 33rd St. train into midtown in less than half an hour. This line drops off at Herald Square which is just a short walk from the Theatre District (if Broadway is your thing).

Question

Is this a wedding?

Answer

No. We already had a wedding in January. We got all of the boring stuff out of the way, so now all you have to do is show up to dance, drink and be merry.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Because this is a formal cocktail event and there will be continuous dance music, we recommend that parties attending be at least 16 years of age or older. If you want to bring anyone younger than 16, please contact one of us before you RSVP.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Wear whatever makes you shine bright like a diamond, but we encourage guests to bust out their old bridesmaids dresses and groomsman giddups to give them a second spin. After all, YOU are the wedding party.

Question

How do I get to maritime parc?

Answer

You've got a few options depending on where you're coming from. If you are staying in Jersey City, an Uber/Lyft is probably the most convenient and affordable option. If you are coming from NYC, we recommend taking the scenic ferry ride from lower Manhattan into Liberty Landing Marina.

Question

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

Your presence is a gift to us, but if you are feeling generous you can visit our registry tab for some ideas. We live in an urban apartment, which is why we are not suggesting tangible gifts.
