We "met" at our mutual best friend's, Sydnea, 21st birthday celebration. Mind you, both of us have been friends with Sydnea since we were 15, had been at several of her events and have been in the same room multiple times! But let's just stick with that meeting date! So back to the night we "met", the girls all hung out together while the guys lingered in the background. Greg and I barely talked the entire night. LOL So fastfoward to the following day, Syd texts and says “Greg wants your number” I think to myself, “that boy didn’t say anything to me the whole night what does he want my number for? And why didn’t he just ask me for it last night?” But I told her to give it to him anyway. Sometime later he texts to ask me on a date. We went to Applebees and saw Redtails at the movies. We actually talked to each other on the date so that’s a plus. Needless to say the date went well and here we are 10 years later getting married!

Let's just say it happened in the most on brand way for us.
