Their story began in Bolivia at an international convention. Astrid first noticed Austin at an evening gathering, and although she didn’t see him again for the rest of the week, they unexpectedly kept crossing paths throughout the convention— exchanging glances before finally meeting. Astrid eagerly showed her friend a picture they had taken together with Austin’s friends. Her friend immediately recognized him and revealed that she had actually met Austin a year earlier during her own trip to New York. The coincidence became even sweeter when Astrid and Austin discovered that they had many mutual friends and connections. From that point on, they began talking every day, and what started as a few unexpected encounters slowly grew into something much more meaningful. Their conversations became a part of their everyday lives, and with time, their friendship began to grow; and so did their love. Eventually, Austin moved to Arizona so they could be closer and continue building their relationship. Neither of them expected to find a love. Yet, somehow, they found their forever partner. Today, they’re grateful for every glance, every conversation, and every unexpected moment that led them to each other. They look forward to beginning their greatest chapter yet— not just as two people who found love, but as husband and wife, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.
