Matt and Jamie met at Grand Canyon University!!
Playing on the baseball and beach volleyball teams, both transfer athletes… I mean come on, it was meant to be! The two of them started dating October 17th, 2017 after a date night at Joyride Tacos on 7th street in Phoenix. 

Matt ended up transferring to ACU his senior year to play baseball. Jamie stayed at GCU and they got through the “long distance” of being 30 minutes away from each other and going to different schools. Matt and Jamie both graduated from GCU in 2019, moved on up into the “real world” and have been crushing it together ever since.
