In September 2023, we matched on Hinge; living proof that the app really is designed to be deleted. From our very first phone call, the conversation flowed effortlessly. Seven days later, we met for our first date. What began as a simple evening at Ashton Creek Vineyards evolved into something more. Six hours passed in what felt like the blink of an eye, filled with laughter, tacos, and the unmistakable feeling that something special had begun. Our love story unfolded between two cities, Assata in Richmond and Jeremy in Hampton. Weekend visits, hour long drives, and the anticipation of seeing each other again became part of the rhythm of our relationship. In June 2025, Assata relocated to Hampton, closing the distance and beginning an exciting new chapter together. Since then, life has been full of laughter, growth, and adventures near and far. Through every moment, our love has only deepened. On Valentine’s Day 2026, we got engaged and now, can’t wait to say “I do” this May surrounded by family and continue writing our story together.
