CAMP STARLIGHT! As many of you know, we met at a summer camp called Camp Starlight. It's in a small town in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania. Alyssa was a camp counselor and Andy was a golf specialist. Alyssa's little campers loved Andy so much that they made her go to golf (of all sports) almost everyday. That constant interaction is what sparked something that would last a lifetime.

After camp we decided to finish our University work then travel the world. Our first destination was Beijing, China. We lived and worked there for about a year and a half and met such incredible people along the way. After that, we decided we weren't quite done with China just yet and moved to Shanghai. We worked for Disney English for just over a year and met some life long friends there as well. With this experience we were able to travel all around Asia, which to this day we're so thankful for. Traveling for three years really helped put life, and where we wanted to be in perspective. We can't wait to see what the rest of our journey together will bring.

Andy planned a day away to Tatton Park. He packed up a nice picnic and the gopro. We arrived and walked around, saw some deer, it was beautiful! Once we settled down into an area by the lake, we started eating. He even packed me a mini bottle of champagne. Something seemed planned, however we ate and had a lovely time. Then it was time to go, I thought to myself, "maybe he was just being romantic." We were walking back to the car and we decided to take a picture with us and the park in the background. Little did I know what was going to happen next. We found a tree, perched the gopro up and angled it nicely. Andy sneakily put it into video mode, then got down on one knee. What he said is a blur due to my excitement, and that's the story!
