Dawson moved in across the hall from Aspynn at the Cottages at SUU. They had no idea that when they first met they would end up spending their lives together, but if you asked anyone else, they had a hunch. They both knew God put them in their lives for a reason, but didn't understand why until fall semester of 2023. It was the weekend before Aspynn's birthday and she got a dresser for her dorm. She convinced Dawson to come build it for her and they have spent almost everyday together since!

If you were to ask Aspynn if she knew when she was getting proposed to she would like to say yes, but she had no idea. Dawson contacted her amazing coworker to take their pictures and of course, Aspynn had no idea. He convinced her that they were taking pictures to grow his roommate's photography profile. 3 days before it happened, Dawson went to scout out the perfect spot to do it and on top of that took pictures and videos to send to the photographer so she knew exactly where to go. They picked out each other's outfits and drove up to Zion National Park. Dawson convinced Aspynn to go on a little hike while they "waited for his roommate," but she definitely did not want to. After lots (and I mean lots) of convincing she did. Afterwards, he got on one knee and the rest is history.
