Once Upon a Time.... okay, well... maybe we don't need to go that far back! Let's get you up to speed: Aspen and Sarena are both artists through and through, and they were lucky enough to learn this about each other during their time in college, where they studied hard for their BFAs in Animation together at Woodbury University. Somewhere along the way, it was head over heels for the both of them, spending long nights getting boba and definitely studying (and not just talking until the sun came up)! Right after college, it was off to the races, working hard to play hard too! Aspen and Sarena connected over their shared love of Dungeons & Dragons, cartoons, and video games, and bonded over the new things they could teach each other! They both love nature, fresh air, and, of course, wildflowers. The theme for this magical event is springtime because of the couple's love for wildlife. Long walks at Descanso Gardens feel like home for them, Aspen has a deep, lifelong love of the ocean, and Sarena has always dreamt of being up to her elbows in a vegetable and flower garden. The couple live with their silly little Siamese cat Miso and spend their time writing, drawing, and singing their way to happily ever after.
