BV sits at an altitude of 7,965 feet above sea level. The high elevation means cooler evenings, strong sun exposure, and a chance of altitude sickness if you're not acclimated. Stay hydrated and take it easy if you're coming from a lower elevation!
Dress Code: Black Tie Optional Tuxedos, suits, and floor-length dresses are all welcome as we celebrate in the Colorado mountains. While the day will be warm, the mountain air can get chilly in the evening — a shawl or wrap is a good idea!
In mid-July, Buena Vista, Colorado, typically has warm days and cool nights. Around 75-85 during the day and 45-55 at night. However, weather in the Rocky Mountains can be variable and a quick rain shower can sneak up, so be sure to pack a rain jacket if you're planning to enjoy the outdoors!
Please arrive at 4:30pm to take your seats, the ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm

Our guest list is limited, so we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
The ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue - The Barn at Sunset Ranch in Buena Vista, Colorado (27650 Co Rd 337, Buena Vista, CO 81211). The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be held inside.

We’re serving a delicious Italian dinner buffet, with plenty of variety for all appetites. There will be signs for gluten free options and the servers will be there to help if needed. Drinks: Join us at Cash’s Bar, named in loving memory of our cherished golden retriever, Cash. Enjoy the open bar with a selection of thoughtfully crafted signature cocktails, alongside beer, wine, and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages to suit every taste.
