Their love story may not be the "perfect" love story to others, but for them it is . Gustavo first had a crush on Aspen when she first moved to Fort Stockton their 8th grade year and was partnered up in a mutuals quinceanera. She had absolutely no idea, and it wasn't until junior year of highschool when they became friends that she too developed feelings for him. She never told anyone because she always thought, "how could a guy like him go for a girl like me?", which is funny because he was thinking the exact same thing about her. They were constantly teasing one another and flirting in class but neither of them were willing to admit how they truly felt so it remained a secret. It wasn't until senior year of highschool that they really started to spend time with each other in school and talked everyday over text message. They soon graduated, and continued to see one another every day, still wondering if the other felt the same way. Finally one night while at a mutual friend's graduation party, they were sitting next to each other, their eyes locked and he kissed her. And in that moment they knew they had their answer. After that night they were inseparable. Gustavo eventually asked Aspen to be his girlfriend and somewhere between the constant laughter, jokes, flirting, and deep conversations, they realize that they had completely fallen for each other. It's been almost 5 years, and since then they have added a beautiful baby girl to their family. Gustavo had been planning to propose for over a year and finally did on April 28th, 2023. They are so excited to enter this next chapter of their lives together and can't wait to spend an eternity of loving one another as husband and wife.
