Annapolis, MD, is one of the nation’s oldest & most historic cities, and offers a variety of sites, shops, dining experiences, and spectacular views of the Chesapeake Bay. Main Street is a shopper's paradise. Stop by The Lucky Knot if you're interested in nautical wear. Visit Back Creek Books for rare first-editions of timeless classics. And if you're in the market for some new sunglasses, look no further than Shades by the Bay! These are just some of our favorites, but you can't go wrong on Main Street. If you're looking for some good eats on Main Street, check out Ruth & Delly's for an authentic diner experience, or head a few blocks over to Harry Browne's for a relaxing lunch. If you don't mind venturing off Main Street, Iron Rooster & the Boatyard Bar & Grill are old staples with traditional menus and great seafood. If you'd like to grab drinks somewhere, our favorite watering holes include: Dry 85, Dock Street Bar & Grill, Fox’s Den, & Galway Bay.
Saint Michaels
About a 45 minute drive from the venue - St. Michaels is a quaint historic town with a beautiful harbor, exceptional dining, amazing B&B's and Inns and one of a kind shopping.
Dockside Dining
Aspen and I went to Bridges when we were looking at rehearsal dinner venues and it was delicious! There are a ton of great restaurants right in the area, including Harris Crab House and Annie's, all known for Maryland's steamed crabs and the freshest seafood from the Chesapeake Bay.
Sport Fishing
Depending on the season, anglers rarely go home without a catch! Rockfish, White Perch, Sea Trout, Blue Fish Charter and Headboat fishing trips depart from the Kent Narrows on a regular basis from April-December. Experienced captains know where the fish are. Catch Rockfish, White Perch, Sea Trout and Blue Fish! The address we provided is one of many options to charter a boat and catch a few!
