Glenwood Hot Springs Pool
Glenwood Hot Springs is the worlds largest hot springs pool. This hot springs is very family friendly with many different pools to enjoy aside from the main pool. They also have a water slide that simulates white water rapids.
Iron Mountain Hot Springs
Iron mountain offers 16 individual mineral pools that are all different temperatures along with a large freshwater pool. It also provides an outdoor bar for those who like to sip margaritas at the poolside.
Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park
Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is located at the top of Iron Mountain. To get to the park there is a gondola ride that transports patrons up the mountain. The park offers roller-coasters, thrill rides, cave tours, and restaurants for a fun day on the mountain.
Hanging Lake Trailhead
Hanging Lake Trailhead is a 1.2 mile hike to a gorgeous waterfall and crystal clear lake with a fallen tree in the middle. Permits and reservations are required which cost $12 per person during august and can be made on their website or by phone. It is also important to note there is over 1,000 ft of elevation gain on this hike, which may cause symptoms of altitude sickness for those not used to Colorado elevation.
