FAQs

Question

What time do the events start?

Answer

All events will begin promptly on time, please be there so that you can enjoy the entire event! - Nikkah: 12:00pm EST - Reception: 7:30pm EST

Question

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

There is no assigned parking for the Fox Theater. We have coordinated parking at The Georgian Terrace Hotel (directly across from the Fox Theater) for $20 per car. There is also a show that night so there will probably be someone at the kiosk to help the guest with paying before entering. Instructions: - Pull up to the kiosk of the parking deck of the Georgian Terrace - Press the other option and then press I have a passcode - Put in the following passcode: 0824 - The machine will print out a ticket for you. Make sure you keep that ticket and scan it for the $20 dollar rate. There are also several parking decks located near the Fox Theater and and would recommend carpooling or using a rideshare service if you live or are traveling from nearby! There will be plenty of parking available at the pithi and nikkah venue.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity at our venue, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. All invited members of your party will appear in the RSVP form! We look forward to celebrating with you all!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in Atlanta should be averaging 80-90 degrees in August, and will drop to an average of 68 degrees at night. The humidity will be high but not to worry, all of our events will be indoors.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Please feel free to wear either Western or Indian/Pakistani attire at any of our events! For our Pithi ceremony, attire is semi-formal cocktail attire or formal traditional Indian/Pakistani attire. Guests traditionally wear bright colors! For our reception, attire is formal/black tie optional or formal Indian/Pakistani dress. Wear your dancing shoes!

Question

Where should I shop for an Indian/Pakistani outfit?

Answer

If you'd like to wear traditional Indian/Pakistani clothing, we recommend a saree or lehenga choli for women and kurta for men. Here are a few websites we recommend: www.azafashions.com, www.perniaspopupshop.com, www.kalkifashion.com. Feel free to contact the bride or the groom for additional questions.
