We’re getting married!!!

(Asia) Geoffrey and I have known each other for many years. We both attend the same church, Columbus Christian Center. Geoffrey has attended this church since birth and I for about 10 years. We both had been single for awhile when we became “friends”. The friendship started when mutual friends began inviting both of us out to events. At the time, Geoffrey was only attending events to get closer to me. I can finally admit that I had an attraction to Geoff from day one. However, I refused to show any sign of attraction until I knew it was God and he pursued me. So, we continued on as friends and had multiple movie nights within a group setting. Geoffrey had been praying and seeking gudiance on how to pursue me during this time. Although, we both liked each other. We did not disclose this information to one another. After months of being patient and waiting on the timing that God had for us. Geoffrey asked me on our first date. (Geoffrey) On December 21st we went on our first date to the zoo lights. It was a huge surprise for Asia because she loves the zoo and animals and as many people know, Christmas is her absolute favorite time of the year. The next date was December 29th and I planned the day to go to top golf and then later on to take Asia to dinner at Ocean Club. The day was amazing and at Ocean Club, I asked Asia to be my girlfriend. Asia didn’t say yes right away, she wanted to make sure that I asked Pastor Forbes for permission to date her first. After informing her that I had recieved blessing from pastor. She finally said, “yes”. From that point on we became the best of friends, lovers and accountability partners. Everyday together is always the best day and we both cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives with each other and continue on with the assignment that God has trusted us with!
