Our wish for this weekend is that we are able to celebrate our love with those we love most. Rarely do we have the chance for two families to come together to celebrate the union of two people. So leave your woes at home and we'll see you at the celebration💗

Asia: We both moved into the Wheelhouse Apartments in the fall of 2021. And yet, we didn't first meet until January of 2022, while both were riding the elevator. Christian was having a party with friends that night and upon seeing me, he promptly invited me to join. Little did he know, I had already been invited earlier that day by a few friendly ladies I had also met in the elevator. I figured that two invites from two different friendly strangers meant that I should give it a try. I was looking to make friends in the building anyway and Christian looked very cute with his long hair and mismatched outfit so I decided to go. Christian: Was this a movie? I meet someone on the elevator, we hit off at a party and like that romantic feelings? Asia was catch, and a catch is worth catching. I asked her out two days later. Over the next few months, I set out to convince Asia to see me as more than a friend. A few dates later, Asia recognized my intentions more quickly than I had hoped. She called me out declaring “You must really like me.” I did, but I still had my work cut out for me. “I don’t know what I am going to do with you,” she said and said again many times thereafter. I persisted knowing we were perfect for each other. Every time she said “I don’t know what I am going to do with you,” was a sign to me that Asia liked having me around. We gradually spent more and more time together exploring each other’s interests, adventuring around Maryland, and discussing our future goals. Asia: From the beginning, I felt comfortable talking to Christian about any and everything. In addition to only being a floor away, this meant that we talked all the time, getting to know each other very deeply in a relatively short period of time. In that time, I confirmed that he is the sweetest man that I know. I am in constant awe of how he goes above and beyond for those that he cares about. As our bonding and adventures continued, I grew increasingly sure that this love was meant to be. His sincerity let me know that not only was this a man that I could love but also one who I could have open communication with, one with the same values, and one that was willing to do the work with me to establish a lasting relationship. Luckily, Christian felt exactly the same. And after many discussions, we decided to take the next steps and move in together. We got engaged one month later! Christian: What a happy engagement it has been. Asia is a dream come true. She is as beautiful inside as she is out, she's the smartest person I know, and absolutely worth all my love. Our adventures continue as our love grows, and we look to the future with excitement. We especially look forward to our wedding where we hope to have you as our guest.
