How we met

William and Crystal were trying out the online dating world. They sent messages back and forth for a couple weeks. Getting to know each other; sending text messages, photos and memes of course. They both agreed to meet in person in Mid 2015. After a couple dates, crazy adventures in the tow truck and a VERY long talk (in the parking lot of the Folsom theaters LMAO), William and Crystal decided to officially become a couple. Both of them agreed to take is slow and steady.

Our Relationship

Once they decided to be together, that's when things got crazy. William and Crystal were cut from the same cloth but in a different material. Let me explain, they have a lot of things in common. Fishing has been an activity that they both enjoy. They have spent so many nights at the river casting and catching. Crystal tends to catch more than William but whose counting. They are a well oiled machine when it comes to fishing. William gases up the car while Crystal packs all the gear. Once at the water, William unpacks all the chairs, tackle, food. While Crystal hurries to get her pole in the water. There are other things that William and Crystal work well together. They are a well oiled machine when they need to be, like hosting Christmas in 2018. On the other hand, they are so different in ways. They fight over what type of food is the best, what movie to watch and who text who last and who needs to stop drinking to drive the other home. They keep each other on their toes. As the years past they moved into their first place and added another puppy to their pack. They may fight, love, get irritated and go crazy at times but, neither of them would change it for the world.

Purposal

William told Crystal to take 4 days off in August of 2018. He did not tell her where she was going or what they will be doing. This drive Crystal up a wall because she always has to know all the details of everything. The days leading up to the mini vacation Crystal pondered with her friends about what might happen. Where are they going? What are they doing? Once the day arrived for them to leave William packed up the car, put Crystal in the front seat with her blanket, pillow and of course snacks; they were off. Crystal fell asleep as usual on the way up there. As she woke up so knew exactly where they were going. Her favorite place ever, Monterey, CA. When they arrived they pulled into Lovers Point Inn and checked in. The room was a beautiful suit over looking the ocean. The room was amazing, the best part was the hot tub in the room. William and Crystal spend those next couple days playing in the sand, eating at their favorite pizza place Gianni's Pizza and going on adventures. William took Crystal on a boat ride on the little mermaid, to the aquarium, visited Zander (Williams brother) and many other places. The day before they left William and Crystal got a call that her cousin and her husband were in Monterey. They met up, got them unpacked and headed straight to the beach. Crystal, as she always does was looking for tiny crabs in the sand and yelling at seal (Crystal calls them Sea Dogs). William bends down and yells at Crystal "look I found a crab". As Crystal starts to dig for the crab William adjusts himself on one knee. He pulls out a little box and says "i think there is only rocks honey, but look at this one". Crystal looked up and all she could say was "Shut up". She started to cry and emotionally said YES!
