Our journey began at 17 years old, when we first met in the lively halls of our high school. Sharing classes and mutual friends, Ash decided to “prom-pose” to Shailee by composing an original, one-sentence song (“If I Ash you to prom and you say “yes” it would be a “WIN”). We went to prom together, and after discovering we were both headed to the same college, started dating during our freshmen year. After graduating from Rutgers, our relationship took us from long-distance moments in San Francisco, CA to new adventures together in Jersey City, NJ and Washington, D.C. Together, we celebrated new jobs, explored the world, and supported each other through everything. Almost 10 years after meeting, in September 2023, under a beautiful sky, Ash got down on one knee and asked Shailee to marry him! Now, we're thrilled to celebrate our love with all of you!
