Scott and Hannah's story began at the young age of 12 when they were assigned to the same homeroom in middle school. Their friendship blossomed over the years as they navigated school together, (later noting) each of them had made many attempts to capture the other's attention. The turning point in their relationship came during their junior year of high school after a football game where Scott finally asked her to the homecoming dance. From that moment on, their bond deepened as they supported each other through high school. After graduation, Scott and Hannah both made the move to Frederick, Maryland and attended Hood College. Scott played on the Hood College Baseball team as a pitcher and pursued his Criminal Justice Degree, while Hannah worked hard towards becoming a Registered Nurse and obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. College life was a mix of excitement and challenges. They both enjoyed college life by exploring the new city, going out downtown with friends, and always helping each other power through every late-night study session in the Library. Their shared experiences, from pulling all-nighters during midterms and finals to supporting each other’s growth as they turned into adults, were a testament to their enduring bond. On Christmas morning 2023, while Hannah was preparing for a family dinner, she had no idea Scott was waiting in her backyard. After being told to step outside, she was greeted with a trail of rose petals and found Scott, down on one knee, asking her to spend forever together. Now, both Scott and Hannah are thriving in their dream careers and living the life they always envisioned. Witnessing each other’s growth and success has been an immense privilege. Growing up together and seeing each other achieve the dreams they once talked about as teenagers has been one of the greatest blessings. Through every chapter of life, their love for one another remains constant and ever-present. As they step into the journey of marriage, they are filled with anticipation for the beautiful story yet to unfold.
